The Workers Compensation Lawyers QLD is led by Kerry Splatt, the Principal Lawyer of Splatt Lawyers and one of Queensland’s most experienced personal injury lawyers.
Kerry holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Queensland (BA, LLB – UQ) and has practised personal injury law for more than 40 years.
In 1998, Kerry became a Queensland Law Society Accredited Specialist in Personal Injury Law – a rigorous designation that requires advanced training, a formal assessment process, and ongoing professional development. He has held this specialist accreditation continuously for 25 years.
In 2025, the Honourable Chief Justice Bowskill of the Supreme Court of Queensland presented Kerry with the QLS 25-Year Accredited Specialist Award at the Queensland Law Society Specialist Accreditation Breakfast in Brisbane – recognising his extraordinary commitment to the profession and to injured Queenslanders.
When accepting the award, Kerry noted:
